There has never been a time in the history of Belize when we have been faced with so many different issues. Today Belize faces crippling debt, a failing Judicial system, out of control crime and  uncontrollable corruption…I  love Belize and our people. I believe that as a nation we are on the precipice of greatness;   the tentacles of the past are holding fast and steady, creating a certain paralysis of even our greatest minds.

The idea of Twocanview was borne because there seem to be a lack of impartiality and a over abundance of party politics in addressing tough issues about Belize.  I  decided that rather than try to overcome this constant barrage in other forums,  I would just create an arena for  intellectual pursuits of discussions which are solutions based. I would like to provide a respectful yet hard-hitting, impartial environment where people who  have been silenced into submission or non existence can once again find an audience.

I encourage frank and honest commentary. I ask that you do not use the site a place to create mischief. Lets discuss ideas and change and no personal attacks please.  I  wish to examine what has occurred and still occurring in Belize, in an effort to provide insightful recommendations to help build our nation. I welcome differing views and ideas, even controversial ones. I hope that everyone who joins in this endeavor can once again begin to hope for a better Belize.  I look forward to your contributions to chart a great future for the country of Belize.
